Wonderful 27: The PGT Experience
" And everything started awfully that we didn't expect the table would turn the other way around at the end "
YES! YES! YES! A triple yes was so pleasing to the ears. It left me speechless in front of the crowd and the respected judges. It indeed made a great impact within me and to the whole team.
I didn't expect my day would have a perfect ending unlike my pissing experience along my way to the venue. It was raining very hard that I got my shoes soaking wet. My jeans were partly wet though and I'm half way to being frozen! In fact, it has been declared that we're currently having Typhoon Signal no. 2. Traffic kept me trapped along the way. It had eaten my hour waiting along the heavy traffic and the heavy rain plus, the heavy mood of the passengers in the Jeep. How I wished my father could have accompanied me to SM so we could have rode a taxi. I even carelessly ran my trolley bag on a foot of one of the passengers as I aboard the Jeep which made him very mad! Geeze! Sorry for that! ;) I almost forgot everything about time while we were on the venue. I seemed like it didn't exist. Everything there was fun, amusement and of course a bit of pressure. I saw different talents. Different people of different ages trying their luck and spending their entire day to compete. I bet they've also got what it takes! I was also chosen to be the spokesperson of the group where I have to answer the interviews. It was of course a bit pressurizing but then, I was able to manage it. In contrary, it had given me the chance to talk to Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford and the honored judges- Ms. Kris Aquino, AiAi and FMG. It was unbelievable! It was so crazy and everything was like in fairytale that we didn't imagine that one day all the fantasies we could ever imagine will be brought to life in just a snap of a finger. And to think we were lucky enough for we didn't even spent long hours for the screening. The PGT Cebu Staffs themselves went to our school and asked us to audition for the said competition. It took us about 5 hours to finally be called on stage. I couldn't feel pressure while performing. Maybe my preparation ahead of time helped a lot. It made my body in condition. Or maybe it was all because we were all enthusiast to perform and show what we've got that all the pressure we felt vanished away. We fought and overcame the pressure. And that's one thing I'm so proud of our company and to myself too! And so there it goes, we got triple YES from the judges. My tears flowed down when I saw our dance choreographer backstage. I'm so happy!
Aside from that I also hugged my ultimate crush BILLY CRAWFORD. I got starstruck! Luis Manzano was a real hunk! The whole PGT Staff was great! So far, I haven't noticed any negative treatments from the whole crew. I couldn't put into words the experiences we've experience and the feeling of happiness buried deep within me. No words can explain such! This will forever linger in my memory and will forever be a part of me, just like every other experiences I had. Everything ended perfectly. Everything that we just see in TV was already happening to us. And I hope this would not be the end but the start of another chapter of our dance company's journey. And I do wish us good luck as we take another round before we compete in Davao. :)
But as a whole, we couldn't make it to this point without God. He had given us our talent and he had given us this opportunity. Therefore, it is just right to give him praise and thanks for the wonderful blessings he showered upon us! God is good all the time! You rock Lord! \m/
BLOG UPDATED 2011
So if you haven't noticed, I have not updated my tumblr since 2011 started. Well, it just happened that I got so busy with my life and piles of things-to-do were keeping me away from my lavish moments in the internet. So let me start with one of the latest happening. We got qualified for the Pilipinas Got Talent and we'll be doing another audition for the Best of Cebu tomorrow, January 27, 2011 at SM City Cebu. If you haven't heard of this PGT stuff, well, let me tell you that it's one of the biggest talent search competition in TV. Being able to reach this far is really a great accomplishment for the dance company.
Next, I gained my old group back, the W.I which later became Juriale..p, after I got evicted from the group and now renamed as JURIELLE.. P, as I got back in :) Though we had trouble along the way but I was glad that trouble had opened each of ours minds what's supposed to be the truth. I'm glad to be back in the group and guess what? It feels good to be celebrating our 3rd Anniversary this February 14.
Third, I had celebrated my Sinulog 2011 along with my co-dancers and Mapeh Documentation groupmates. I had a bunch of great time being with those guys and Desiree. I pushed myself in a crowd under the rain pouring above us. It was half-annoying and half-enjoyable. The only thing that pissed me off was the SUN CELLULAR NETWORK which had our text messages hours delayed. But at the end of the day, the fireworks which was magnificent the whole time as it painted the sky with different shades and hues made a perfect ending for my long and tiring day. It was also heart warming to have it enjoyed with my brother and cousin.
Fourth, there's this boy 9 year older than me who caught my attention. It's not that I've planned everything up. It just happened so quickly that I got interested on him. As of now, I could not allow myself to go beyond this infatuation because first of all, he's 9 years older than me! Second, I'm too immature for him. Third, It's not just the way it would work. (I guess) And most and the most important of all, I'M NEVER GONNA BE GOOD FOR HIM TO NOTICE. Yes! And as much as possible I'm trying to act plain and simple whenever he's beyond my reach. (Well, even though we don't see each other as often :p) But as rarely as we cross our paths, I usually caught myself out of control. O_o I hate it when I act that way. But again, this stupid infatuation won't last long. (If I try to!)
Well, I guess those were the things which I like to get posted. :) I'm just happy and contented with what's going on with my life right now. I hope you'll have a great time! ;)
